Done Deal: NBA Top Star Nikola Jokić Received Major Boost as Nuggets Confirmed the Signing of the 27-year-old Sensational Star…

The Denver Nuggets distinguish themselves from many modern NBA organizations with their patient and consistent approach to team development. Rather than constantly overhauling their roster, the Nuggets focus on nurturing and retaining their existing talent.

In line with this philosophy, the Nuggets have re-signed veteran forward Vlatko Čančar, as reported by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The specifics of the Slovenian player’s new contract have not been disclosed. However, insiders anticipate that Čančar will return on a one-year, veteran minimum contract, likely earning between $2-3 million. Both parties were expected to reach an agreement, resulting in a modest pay increase for Čančar while also reducing his cap hit.

Čančar was a reliable contributor off the bench during the Nuggets’ championship run two years ago, appearing in 60 games and averaging 5.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in just under 15 minutes per night. Although he missed the entire previous season due to a torn ACL, he has returned to full strength and even participated in his national team’s Olympic qualifying tournament. Čančar is anticipated to be a significant part of Mike Malone’s rotation next season.
