Ex- Tigers’ promotion winner gives assessment of Hull City’s play-off chances…

The Tigers are firmly in the race for a top six spot come the end of the season.

Former Hull City promotion winner Robert Snodgrass believes his old club is in a strong position to secure a spot in the playoffs this season. The Tigers are currently sixth in the championship table, following a 1-1 draw with rivals West Brom. This draw ended their three-game winning streak but maintained a three-point lead over Norwich City, who are just outside the top six.

Snodgrass, who was part of the Hull City team that won promotion via the play-offs in 2016, feels optimistic about their chances. He believes the top four teams will be competing for the top two spots, leaving fifth to tenth place teams to vie for the remaining play-off spots. He praises the competitive nature of the championship, stating that any team can beat any other, making it one of the best leagues in the world.

Regarding Hull City’s current manager, Liam Rosenior, Snodgrass is impressed with his coaching style and philosophy. He recalls playing with Rosenior and always seeing his potential as a coach and manager. Snodgrass appreciates Rosenior’s clear approach and the way he communicates with his players. He believes the team has bought into Rosenior’s vision and enjoys watching their style of play.

Snodgrass is optimistic about Hull City’s chances of making it to the play-offs this season. He believes the team is in a good position and has faith in their manager’s abilities.
