He recounted that he made efforts for ten days to bring Messi to Milan after the Argentine forward left Barcelona. Maldini clarified that despite their attempts, the endeavor eventually proved unfeasible.
Maldini’s revelations stem from a podcast recording earlier in the month, where he discussed various aspects of AC Milan, including his ambitious but unsuccessful pursuit of Messi.
