Houston Texans’ quarterback, CJ Stroud, expressed gratitude and humility regarding his selection for the 2024 Pro Bowl after an outstanding rookie season. Stroud’s impressive debut year saw him lead the Texans to the NFL Playoffs’ divisional round, showcasing his potential. In an interview during the Pro Bowl Games, Stroud acknowledged the significance of the opportunity, emphasizing his appreciation for being in the company of football legends such as Ray Lewis, Peyton Manning, and Eli Manning.

The rookie QB, visibly thrilled, considered it a blessing to share the Pro Bowl stage with such esteemed players and hoped it would be the first of many such experiences. Throughout the 2023 season, Stroud demonstrated his capabilities, amassing impressive statistics with 4,108 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and a QBR of 57.4—all ranking within the top 15 in the NFL. “Man, it’s a blessing. I’m super blessed to be here with such great players, such great legends like Ray [Lewis], Peyton [Manning], and Eli [Manning]. So I’m just really in great company, and I hope it’s the first of many,” Stroud said, per the Texans’ X account.
