The exact diagnosis and severity of Seager’s injury are still unknown. If Seager has strained his hamstring, he might be sidelined for several weeks. Seager, 30, had been performing well, with 13 home runs and 29 RBIs in his first 56 games, contributing an estimated 2.4 Wins Above Replacement (WAR), according to Baseball Reference. He had been particularly strong recently, with a 1.181 OPS over the past four weeks.
