The Las Vegas Raiders have made a significant addition to their roster by signing unrestricted free agent wide receiver Jalen Guyton, the team announced on Monday.
Guyton brings his talents to the Silver and Black after a successful five-year stint with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2019 to 2023. In his most recent season, Guyton showcased his skills in eight games, recording 10 receptions for 89 yards and scoring one touchdown.
Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 212 pounds, Guyton initially entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Chargers in 2019. Since then, he has amassed an impressive career, appearing in 46 games with 14 starts. Throughout his career, Guyton has accumulated 71 receptions for 1,112 yards and seven touchdowns, along with 34 rushing yards on nine attempts.
Hailing from Allen, Texas, Guyton’s football journey includes stops at North Texas, Trinity Valley Community College, and Notre Dame. During his time at North Texas from 2017 to 2018, Guyton made a significant impact, appearing in 26 games and tallying 103 receptions for 1,580 yards and 15 touchdowns.
