Breaking News: Duke Basketball’s Target Keeps Blue Devils’ Fans Guessing as He Breaks the Silence On Blue Devils’ Recruiting Offer with a Cryptic Post…

Meleek Thomas has been on Duke basketball’s radar since last April!

Ever since Lincoln Park’s (Pa.) guard Meleek Thomas landed on Duke’s 2025 basketball wishlist about a year ago, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound five-star recruit has been vocal about his admiration for the Blue Devils. He even listed the program among his top 12 last summer and expressed a keen interest in visiting Durham on a couple of occasions.

However, in a recent conversation with Rivals’ Rob Cassidy, the 17-year-old standout, once considered a candidate for reclassification to the 2024 class, didn’t mention Duke when discussing his upcoming visits.

“I’m looking forward to taking more official visits,” Thomas stated, having already explored Pitt, Auburn, Kentucky, Penn State, and others, as per Cassidy. “I’m planning on visiting UConn, Arkansas, and Indiana.”

Ranked No. 6 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, Meleek Thomas seems to be taking his time with the recruitment process, leaving the door open for potential surprises, including Duke.

None of the eight Duke basketball targets in the class have made commitments or publicly ruled out Jon Scheyer and his coaching staff.
