Jaelyne Matthews cuts recruitment to six schools…

Jaelyne Matthews, a highly sought-after offensive tackle from Toms River North High School, has narrowed down his college choices to six schools. Among these, he recently visited the University of Tennessee and was impressed enough to include them in his top six.

Matthews, who stands at 6-5 and weighs 290 pounds, is ranked as the No. 90 prospect in the 2025 class. He has official visits planned with Georgia, Miami, and Tennessee, and is looking to schedule one with Rutgers soon.

Tennessee, in particular, is keen on Matthews as they currently lack commitments in the offensive tackle position for the 2025 class. Their offensive line coach, Glen Elarbee, has been successful in recruiting and developing talent in the past, and 2025 is an important year for him to continue this momentum.

The University of Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class includes George MacIntyre (QB), Justin Baker (RB), Joakim Dodson (WR), Jack VanDorselaer (TE), Dylan Lewis (CB), and Tyler Redmond (CB).
