Dyche and Moyes Laud West Ham Players After 3-1 Victory Over Everton
West Ham United’s Tomas Soucek received high praise from both Everton manager Sean Dyche and West Ham boss David Moyes after his stunning late goal secured a 3-1 comeback win at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Dyche, who has often lamented Everton’s missed opportunities this season, was left rueing their wastefulness once again as they squandered a lead against a West Ham side that displayed a clinical edge that Everton lacked.
Moyes, on the other hand, acknowledged that the 3-1 scoreline flattered West Ham, but he highlighted the “brilliant” performance of goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who saved a penalty from Beto.
Dyche also had words of praise for Soucek, who scored a beautiful curling goal in the 91st minute to give West Ham the lead. Despite Everton’s dominance in the game, they failed to convert their chances into goals, extending their winless run to 10 games.
Moyes, who has faced pressure as former Everton manager, saw his team secure successive wins and score seven goals in a week, with Soucek’s goal being described as “brilliant” by the West Ham boss.
