Strong message on Boston Celtics rookie from insider: “Celtic most beloved since Isaiah”…

Jordan Walsh, a rookie with the Boston Celtics and a former Arkansas Razorback, is already adored by the team’s supporters; according to The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach, he’s the most cherished Celtic since Isaiah Thomas.

“Jordan Walsh has two career points but might be the most beloved Celtic since Isaiah lol,” Himmelsbach wrote on Twitter.

Walsh’s first-quarter check into the C’s game against the Brooklyn Nets on February 14 enthralled the fan base. Himmelsbach mentioned two points that he scored in a career-high nine minutes of floor time against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jordan Walsh’s Boston Celtics colleague Sam Hauser is optimistic about the rookie’s future Josh spoke well of Walsh’s progress in December, both in terms of his improvement and the direction the Arkansas wing’s career could go.

According to Hauser, “Jordan is progressing nicely” (source: MassLive). Although he’s still young and still developing, he’s been playing pretty well. You can tell he’s incredibly talented and has a lot of promise. I know he’s working hard, because each time he returns, it appears like he’s improved. So, well done, him.

“I believe that having a balance is kind of necessary. Work on the things you already know you’ll need to do when you get here, and when you get the chance, try to elevate your game as much as possible. He’s done an excellent job of it thus far, and when he does arrive, I believe he will likely play as a defender or a spot shooter and establish himself on this team. However, you can see his abilities and promise down there.”

Walsh is developing slowly, and it might take him a year or two before he has a significant effect on the Celtics. But it’s nice to know that the farm system is stocked, especially with the Cs as loaded as any team in the Association.
