Remarkably, despite the severity of the injury, Crosby demonstrated remarkable resilience, not missing a single game, even playing when officially listed as doubtful. In fact, the injury was so severe that Crosby found himself hospitalized the week before a game.

Providing an update on his surgery and outlining a recovery timetable, Crosby shared insights on the latest episode of his podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby. Expressing satisfaction with the surgical outcome, he detailed the immediate postoperative requirements, mentioning the necessity of wearing a substantial brace and maintaining a straight-legged position for at least a week. Acknowledging the current challenges, Crosby affirmed that everything went well and disclosed a recovery timeline of two to three months to achieve full healing and readiness to return to football activities.

Highlighting additional health concerns, Crosby revealed that he also had a torn UCL in his thumb, a condition he had been managing for about half of the year. Despite this, he conveyed optimism about addressing the thumb issue through a subsequent surgical procedure scheduled for the upcoming week in Los Angeles, California.
