EFL Expert explains Why QPR and Marti Cifuentes should join Bristol Rovers in the transfer race for talented forward…

At this stage, it is unclear what funds are going to be available for new manager Marti Cifuentes, but if QPR are serious about getting out of relegation trouble, then they need to let Cifuentes make the necessary changes he sees fit.

Obviously, no one is saying that Cifuentes is interested in signing Clarke-Harris this summer, but with QPR struggling for goals, the 29-year-old could be a short-term solution to a long-term problem.

The Rs are the second-lowest scorers in the league with 11 goals; only bottom side Sheffield Wednesday have scored fewer with seven goals.

Therefore, it is clear to see where the club needs to improve and add not only a new forward but also their all-round game.

But, with Clarke-Harris seemingly set for a January exit, QPR would be silly not to consider the possibility of signing a player who has scored goals at that level.
