Leonard Fournette sends clear and facinating message to Bills as he explained why he signed with the Bills despite other interesting offers…

“I have a lot left in the tank to play”

This week, the Buffalo Bills got some reinforcements at the running back position as former No. 4 overall pick Leonard Fournette signed to the team’s practice squad, and it sounds like he’s ready to do what he can to help the team reach their goals this season.

During a recent interview, after he announced his decision, Leonard Fournette made it clear that he chose to play for the Buffalo Bills over a couple of other options, and he still thinks he has something to add to this team even this late in his NFL career.

“I had a couple teams reach out to me. But I really wanted to do what’s best for me, a fresh start out here in Buffalo,” Fournette said according to USA Today. “I have a lot left in the tank to play, it was all about the right opportunity.”

Fournette certainly seemed like he was still effective last season, totally nearly 1,200 total yards from scrimmage with 668 rushing yards and 523 receiving yards during his final season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

For now, Fournette will be on the team’s practice squad, so we will have to see how long it takes for him to make it to the active roster.
