In a tough blow to the Seattle Mariners, former player and current special assistant Dan Wilson shared disheartening news, confirming that 39-year-old veteran Justin Turner is officially out of the team’s roster due to a season-ending injury. The experienced infielder, who was brought in to provide leadership and consistency, suffered a serious injury that has sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
Wilson, speaking on behalf of the organization, expressed deep disappointment over the situation. “Justin is a true professional and a huge asset both on and off the field. To lose him at this stage is incredibly unfortunate, not only for him personally but for the entire team. He’s been a great leader in the clubhouse, and we’ll miss having him on the field.”
