Trending Nuggets Updates: Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch Slams at Jamal Murray Over Crucial Incident in Game4…

Timberwolves Coach Chris Finch Throws Shade at Jamal Murray!

Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch expressed his frustration before Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night.

The NBA recently fined Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert $75,000 for making a money sign gesture at officials following a disputed call. When asked about the fine pregame, Finch’s response took an unexpected turn, indirectly criticizing Nuggets guard Jamal Murray.

Commenting on Gobert’s fine, Finch remarked, “Obviously you can’t be showing up the officials like that. But I’d like to see the itemized receipt. Because if it’s $75,000 for the money gesture, it must be $10,000 for the towel and $15,000 for the heating pad. So it’s just kind…”

Finch was alluding to Murray being fined $100,000 for throwing a heating pack and towel on the court and making a similar money sign gesture as Gobert. Finch implied that Murray’s fine must have been broken down into $75,000 for the gesture and $25,000 for the thrown items.

Finch’s comments appeared petty, prompting questions about why he focused on Murray instead of concentrating on his own team. This could indicate that Denver has gotten into Minnesota’s head, a positive sign for Nuggets fans, especially after Denver won both games in the Timberwolves’ home arena.

With Game 5 set to tip off in just over an hour, the winner will gain a crucial 3-2 series lead.
