In a move that has filled Wisła Kraków fans with joy and pride, 26-year-old experienced forward Maciej Kuziemka has officially returned to the White Star, turning down a highly lucrative contract offer from Turkish side Kasımpaşa S.K. to fulfill what he calls his “true dream” — wearing the red and white of Wisła once again.
Kuziemka’s return marks one of the most emotional homecomings in recent club history. The Polish striker, who spent the last two seasons abroad, made it clear that no amount of money could outweigh his connection to Kraków and his desire to help restore Wisła to its rightful place among the country’s footballing elite.
Speaking to club media shortly after signing his contract, Kuziemka’s words captured the hearts of supporters:
“I always wanted to be here, at Wisła Kraków. This club shaped me — not just as a footballer, but as a person. When the chance came to come back, I didn’t have to think twice. Offers will always come, but home is only one place. For me, that’s Wisła.”
Known for his explosive pace, pressing intensity, and ability to find the net from tight angles, Kuziemka brings both experience and passion to Mariusz Jop’s attacking line. His arrival is seen as a major reinforcement as Wisła continue their resurgence and fight for promotion back to the Ekstraklasa.
