In a blockbuster move that’s sending shockwaves across Major League Baseball, the Houston Astros have finalized a high-profile 3-team trade that lands them a promising young slugger and a seasoned veteran pitcher — both considered immediate impact players in their respective roles.
According to team officials, the multi-layered deal involves the Astros, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Sources confirm Houston is acquiring 22-year-old outfielder Jordan Lacey, one of Cincinnati’s top power-hitting prospects, along with veteran right-hander Marcus Boyd, a former All-Star starter from Arizona with over a decade of postseason experience.
