Ward, who transferred to Miami for the 2024 season and quickly became the face of the Hurricanes’ offense, confirmed the news late Monday through a social media post that sent shockwaves across the college football world.
“After careful thought and discussions with my family and coaches, I have decided to move on to the next chapter of my career,” Ward wrote. “To all my teammates, the coaching staff, and the fans — thank you. Miami will always have a place in my heart.”
