Steelers Head Coach Have Confirmed worrying blow as he outlines Four Injuries to Open Browns Week…

The Pittsburgh Steelers have some major injuries to deal with ahead of a big game against the Browns.

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with four significant injuries, the majority of them on defense, as they prepare to visit the Cleveland Browns for a crucial divisional matchup in the crowded AFC North.

The Steelers are hopeful they can get superstar safety Minkah Fitzpatrick back this week. Head coach Mike Tomlin said he’s “battling” to play against the Browns but had no definitive update about his status.

Tomlin and company will also keep a close eye on safety Keanu Neal, who suffered a rib injury late in last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers. They’ll do the same for defensive lineman Montravius Adams, who is dealing with an ankle injury. How much those two are able to participate in practice will determine if they’re ready to go on gameday.

Tomlin also said that there is no update on linebacker Kwon Alexander just yet. He’s still being evaluated for an achillies injury that could end his season, but a determination is still being made, according to Tomlin.

Tomlin added that he “feels good” about the prospects of tight end Pat Freiermuth returning this week.
